Make Sure Your MedSpa Has An Email List

I want to take a few minutes and tell you about the importance of creating and maintaining an email list or sometimes otherwise called an email database, or customer database.

It’s important that you keep a copy of all of your past customers’ names, emails, and other contact details for the purposes of future marketing, or “re-marketing.”

But, that’s just 1 piece of the pie. You’ll also want to keep a database of prospective customers that you haven’t yet done business with.

These are the email addresses of people who may have inquired about your services on your website, maybe you’ve talked to them on your social media channels, they’ve signed up to receive your newsletter on your website or blog. There are many different ways you could end up with a potential customer’s email address.

The bottom line is that you want to store their name and email in your business’s CRM or email autoresponder.

An Autoresponder such as MailChimp, Get Response, or Constant Contact (there are dozens of others) allows you to store the email addresses of your previous customers or people that have given you their email address via some other means.

Now you have an easy way to stay in touch with your client database.

Ideally, you’ll want to send out at least a couple of emails per month, just to stay in touch with your database.

Just sending out a simple email sharing the latest skin treatment you’ve done, or a promotion you’re running is a great way to stay on your prospect’s mind.

A past client might see your email, and forward it to a friend or colleague, raving about how great their experience was, now their friend is ringing up your phone wanting to schedule an appointment.

Running a special Christmas medical pedicure event? Now you have a way to get the word out to all of the emails you have stored.

Just create an Instagram page? Send out one email to your list, and request that they follow you to see your cool new content.

At the end of the day you simply want to stay in touch with your prospects so that when they’re ready to book their session, they know just who to call. 😎

If you don’t already have an email list, I recommend putting some methods in place to start building one as soon as possible, it’ll pay off in the long run.
